The 2019 Commitment Award Ceremony took place at the Collegium Maius in Erfurt on July 11, 2019. Andrea von Rauch, director of the GIZ Academy, held a keynote speech on “Diversity is Key. The Concept of Diversity Competence in International Cooperation.” Her speech encouraged the audience to question themselves and their own positions again and again, and to keep on learning as this bears the potential for life-long growth. Thus, the perfect bridge was built to the farewell ceremony of the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy’s MPP class 2017-19, which took place right after the award ceremony.
